Since the end of the season(Juin, 30), a significant number of players are free to chose their destiny, all over Europe; here’s some of them.
Sergio Romero : (Argentine goalkeeper, aged 28 ; Samdoria) After the Copa America’s Final defeat vs Chile, the Argentinian international is a free agent; Liverpool, Roma and Besiktas are interested .
Neto : (Brazilian goalkeeper, aged 25; Fiorentina) He doesn’t want to stay, so come and get him !
Marco Storari : (Italian goalkeeper, aged 38; Juventus) Number two, behind Gigi Buffon, he’s still a very reliable custodian; still have some more years between the sticks.
Simon Pouplin :(French goalkeeper, aged 30 ; Nice GYM) Former custodian of France’s U-21 he warmed the bench after the arrival of prodigy Mouez Hassen.
Taye Taiwo : ( Nigerian defender, aged 30; Bursasport) The former AC Milan player, failed to sign with Legia Warsaw but he still thinks that he can finish his career in a big club in Italy, France or the Netherlands.
Siaka Tiéné :(Ivory Coast, aged 33 ; Montpellier) Winner of CONCAF 2015 the international left-winger is looking for a new challenge.
Roon Vlaar : (Dutch defender, aged 30; Aston Villa) After a satisfactory World Cup 2014 the Duch is free and looking for a club more glamorous than Aston Villa; Manchester United and Southampton are on the folder.
Anthony Réveillère : (French central defender, aged 35 ; Sunderland) The former Lyon and Napoli player has experience and talent, but will age agree with him ?
Abou Diabi : (French midfielder, aged 29; Arsenal) He was predicted as the future France’s world-star, but injuries and then again injuries, got the better of him. Nevertheless, it seems that FC Dallas are willing to give him a last chance.
Lassana Diarra : ( French midfielder, aged 30; Locomotiv Moscow) The former Real Madrid player hasn’t played from some time, but clubs like Standard Liège and Trabzonspor are interested.
Yohan Gourcuff : ( French midfielder, aged 28; Lyon) Labelled as the “next Zinedine Zidane” the French international had injuries galore; when he’s fit , his game is just brilliant, but alas he’s injured most of the time.
Robinho : (Brazilian winger, aged 31; Milan AC) His contract ends in 2016, but the player is free to go whenever he likes. The former Manchester City and Real Madrid player could travel as far as China and Guangzhou Everdrande FC.
Ibrahim Afellay : (Dutch midfielder, aged 29 ; Barcelona FC) His transfer to Barça wasn’t successful, but Serie’s A Internazionale and Lazio are on the folder.
Didier Drogba : (Ivory Coast striker, aged 37; Chelsea FC) The player won’t sign to any Premier League’s club(respect for his heart’s club, Chelsea) but he could agree a new adventure to America’s MLS.
