Silly Season is back ! (1) Transfers Rumours: England, France, Japan, Spain…


Silly season is back, football lovers ! Have you missed all these rumors that light up the fans’ lives and give us something to hope or dread and talk about ? Here’s some of them:

Two years after his world record transfer of £100M to Real Madrid, Gareth Bale is again in the front pages; will he stay in Spain and accept the socios booing, or come back to England? The Times understand that the player is keen for a return to EPL and as Chelsea and Manchester City aren’t able to meet the Merengues price, Manchester United is up front for the taking; agent’s rumors or hard cash reality, this summer there will be another Bale-Gate.

Manchester United are up in all fronts; after Marca’s announcement that David De Gea, current number 1 goalkeeper, has  got a personal agreement with Real Madrid, the Red Devils are on the hunt for his replacement. Tottenham’s French Captain Hugo Lloris is on their list, but Spurs president Daniel Levi, put already a £30M price tag on his prized player; could Man.U meet the price  or will they need that money to sign Gareth Bale /bid for hotshot Juventus Paul Pogba ?

France’s Ligue 1  Champion 2014-15 Paris st Germain, is on the prowl for experienced Champions League players; still under UEFA’s fair-play rules they won’t have much to spent(60 M Euros). Nevertheless, they’ll need a new goalie, for Salvatore Sirigu, their current number 1 is not good enough for CL. Chelsea’s Petr Chech, could fill the bill nicely(10M?).

PSG need to sell, before they buy: Edinson Cavani the club’s maverick, interest Atletico Madrid and Paris would be keen to offload one of their biggest salaries, but they paid for him the extravagant sum of 64M euros; can the Spaniard club match this ?

Another talented maverick, Lyon’s midfielder Yohan Gourcuff, is leaving the club on free; Premier League’s and Serie A clubs are interested, but who will be brave enough to sign an injury – prone player ?

Marseille’s André Ayew is leaving the Phocian club, on free; several English clubs are interested, but it seems that he’s already chosen Serie’s A La Roma and former L1 coach, Rudy Garcia. The Romans have already paid the 4.5 M.euros for their on loan Argentinian midfielder, Leandro Paredes; who’s next ?

Rumors galore in Japan too! The Japanese press announce that their prized International forward Yoshinori Muto snubbed Chelsea FC for  Bundesliga’s Mayence. The 22 years old transfer is estimated 3/3.500 M. Euros;  this season he netted 11 times and his club is second in the Japanese Championship.

FC Tokyo’s outsmarted FC Barcelona; taking advantage of UEFA’s sanctions versus the Catalan club, they signed the”next Messi”,  13-year-old Tafesuka Kubo. Do you remember him? He was the first Japanese to sign to Barça.
