What a night for the Parisians ! Already eliminated, even before the game’s début, they lost(31st) their big-star Zlatan Ibrahimovic, red carted, victim of ( Oscar winner, Best Actor) … Oscar’s convincing performance and a referee, who obviously had watched Mourinho’s before-match, press-conference.

Never mind, the PSG’s players and coach Laurent Blanc, played the game, giving all they had in their hearts and their minds. Who said that we have to accept, misfortune or bad Karma ?

Which ones were the best or the worst ? Here’s the players ratings:

Salvadore Sirigu : 6/10

The Italian stopper, occasionally unsure, showed some  good reflexes against Pamires’ and Oscar’s shots. A bit unlucky, about Chelsea’s goals.

Marquinhos : 6,5/10

Marking Hazard wasn’t an easy job, but he showed good dispositions ; a little less when he left his wing for the center of the pitch.

Thiago Silva : 7,5/10

Great game, from the Brazilian International; “O Monstro” is back and chose the best moment to retrieve his brilliance. He was imperious at the back, untill the odd moment in which gave a unecessary penalty, but redeemed himself by scoring the equalizer.

David Luiz : 7,5/10

A superb goal from the former Blue, another shot, denied by an excellent Courtois, he stood tall in front of a very aggressive Diego Costa.

Maxwell : 6/10

Good defending, even if he wasn’t really tested; a good chance in the 53rd and some interesting moves, but not good enough to be decisive.

Thiago Motta : 6,5/10

Almost yellow-carded early in the game(8th) but he kept his self-control, marshalling the space in front of the back four.

Marco Veratti : 7,5/1O

Good, solid defending from the young Italian; showed great class passing through the English lines, playing long or short passes, whenever he could.

The French international, produced a good, quick game, running miles and miles, helping the team, tirelessly. Quick on the counter, solid in the tackles,he tried several good  combinations with Pastore.
