Hello, everyone, here’s Winter’s Window, Day 22/23 report.
Signings :
Premier League’s Newcastle, have at last a Head coach ! After many rumors and negotiations ( Tim Sherwood, Rémy Garde…) the club decided to sign Alan’s Pardew, former assistant, Jonh Carver, till the end of the season and that, despite of three nils + one defeat, since his “caretaker” debut.
No Liverpool for Fabian Delph; the french player, aged 25, signed a new four and-a-half year contract with his club, Aston Villa, but the story is not finished…yet !
St Etienne, have an offer from Swansea( 4M Euros), for winger Frank Tabanou, but the Stéphanois want 1M more, from the Swans.
Another signing for Milano’s Internazionale ! After the arrivals of Podolski and Shaqiri, the italian club, signed Croatia’s international, Marcelo Brozovic. The 22-year-old midfielder, came from Dinamo Belgrad, on loan for 18 months with a buying option of 8M Euros.
La Liga’s (Bétis Seville) Damien Perquis, signed with FC Toronto; the 30 year old will play with Jozy Altidore and in some months time with Juventus “Atomic Ant” Sebastian Giovinco.
Loaned to Hellas Verona, Mounir Obbadi, should return to his club, Ligue’s 1 Monaco. ASM is still qualified in four competions( national and European) and Head coach, Leonardo Jardim, will need all his players to face the second part of the season.
Will Chelsea let André Schürrle, aged 24, leave England for Germany and Wolfsburg? Head coach, José Mourinho declared that he wanted to keep the player, but if a club was ready to spend big… Did that scare Wolfsburg, for they denied promptly, any connection!
Memphis Depay, very much wanted in France(PSG) and England( Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur). Duch players are very much in demand lately; England would be a possible destination, for PSG without selling, can’t buy.
PSG’s Clement Chantôme, is on his way to Bordeaux! The deal between the two club’s, is almost done and that’s bad news for Tottenham, for without Chantôme, Adrien Rabiot, is bound to stay, in Paris.
