Winter Transfer Window, Day 1: Premier League, Serie A, Ligue 1…

Hello, everyone, and a very happy new year! Here’s our first Winter’s Window report.


Bayern Munchen, announced the arrival of Joshua Kimmich, for summer 2015; the young midfielder currently playing for Leipzig, signed a contract till 2020.

Maya Yoshida, (Southampton) extended his contract till 2018.

Aston Villa, loaned striker Darren Bent to Derby County club, in the English D2.

Swansea City FC , completed signing of Matt  Grimes,(undisclosed fee)

Napoli’s first reinforcement is the Croatian Ivan Strinic.

Hatem Ben Arfa’s departure from Newcastle, is now official; his contract is about to be broken and the french international has already an agreement with South France’s club OGC Nice.

RUMOURS (or almost) :

Lucas Podolski (Arsenal) and L’Internazionale is  almost done! The player arrived in Milano yesterday and after the medical examination will be loaned to the Italian club.

Fiorentina’s excellent goalkeeper, Neto, refused to sign an extension, so if La Viola, want to get some money, they’ll try to sell him now (Juventus are interested) or let him leave on free next summer.

Il Messagero,understand that Lazio is on a good position to sign on loan, Marseille’s Brazilian, Doria. Sao Paolo is also interested, but the french club don’t want him to leave Europe.

PSG are interested by Memphis Depay; young midfielder Adrien Rabiot, should leave the Parisian club on loan, propably to Premier League’s Tottenham Hotspur.

Juventus’ Sebastian Giovinco, won’t join french club Olympique Lyonnais, but he could join Arsene Wenger’s Arsenal or an Italian club (Fiorentina, Bologna) instead.

Girondins de Bordeaux, are very keen to sign on loan Arsenal’s youngster Yaya Sanogo.The french club will have to battle with Crystal Palace, Aston Villa and Sunderland for the loan of the young international.

Jackson Martinez (28 years old) Italy bound? The Colombian international interest Premier League’s Arsenal, Tottenham and Liverpool, but Corriere dello Sport, understand that the player is very much wanted by AS Roma and Juventus. Porto’s Captain is under contract till June 2017 so it will cost 35M Euros to buy him!
