No, Football is not absent from your summer holidays, football lovers! Always alive and kicking not only your favorite’s team friendlies, but the Real Thing, the return of Champions League, no less! Oh well, speaking  of less,  Europa League is ON, too!

Tuesday, July 11th, hosts the second phase’s return games;  ok, no Barça- Manchester City or Real Madrid- Bayern Munchen, but some nice games, nonetheless:

Partisan Belgrade vs HB Torshavn(Feroe)  Celtic Glasgow (Scotland) vs Reykjavic (Iceland)  Also Sweden’s  and Zlatan’s Ibrahimovic  birthplace, Malmoe vs Ventspils(Lettonia)  and FK Rabotuicki Kometal Skopje( Macedonia) vs Clifftonville FC ( N. Ireland)

If these unknown or exotic places don’t give you the urge for travelling, here are some other places to go, beginning with  Europa’s League special and another one, in South America.

Europa’s League games, began July 3rd with more than 80 teams’ participation. Here’s some well-known names to Europa League addicts:

Rosenborg(Norway) vs Sligo Rovers( Ireland)  CSKA Sofia vs Zimbru Chisinau( Moldavia)   Lech Poznan (Poland) vs JK Nomme Kalju( Estonia)

So, South America it is ! Brazil’s World Cup is finished but Libertatores (S.A Champions League equivalent) is still on!  The semi-finals are scheduled, July 22nd and 29th.

In the first semi-final Argentina’s St Lorenzo, will take on Bolivia’s Bolivar ( 22/07) and the second one will see National Asunción(Paraguay) versus Uruguay’s Sporting (29/07)

Also North America has some very interesting MLS games in your disposal, all you have to do is choose whatever makes you forget that your National Leagues games are set to begin, in a few weeks time !
